At CrossFit Manitoba, we believe the CrossFit strength & conditioning program is the most effective way for anyone, regardless of background or experience, to achieve optimal and/or world class fitness. As such, we are proud to be Winnipeg and Manitoba's first Crossfit Affiliate and have already proven CrossFit's effectiveness with all of our clients.
At CrossFit Manitoba, our mission is to bring state-of-the-art coaching techniques to the general public, athlete, military personnel, and public servant (police, fire, and emergency medical services) whose goal is total fitness - both for everyday life and/or to survive everyday on the job.
CrossFit is the world's best strength & conditioning program, developed to enhance competency in all physical tasks. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize performance in all recognized fitness domains. The CrossFit method is best summed up as, "Functional movements that are constantly varied and performed at high intensity".
CrossFit's program addresses all ten general physical skills: Cardiovascular & Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. If your current training program falls short in helping you improve any of these physical skills, you need to try CrossFit!
Workouts are conducted at Assiniboine Athletic Club, located in historic downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, at 401-83 Garry Street, in Fort Garry Place.
